Plot

Jesus is just a bowler that happens to be a felon (at least that's the way that he views life). After getting a warning about this is his last chance to stay out of prison, Jesus gets picked up by a good friend of his. They go about their life, though they end up getting into trouble time and time again. Can they stay far enough out of trouble or will they be caught?

Rating Criteria

0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute waste of time.

1/5 – Barely worth any time.

2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of something to hold the attention a little.

3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but could definitely have used more.

4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.

5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.

3/5 - *SPOILERS* If you like the "The Big Lebowski" movie, you may or may not like this movie. You remember the bowler Jesus that is super egotistical and licks his bowling ball before rolling a strike? Yeah, this movie is all about him.

What is one of the first things that Jesus and his friend Petey do? Hijack a car and getting in trouble with the car's owner (a hairdresser). It just gets worse from there. They meet a girl named Marie, who makes their life more interesting in more ways than one for good and for bad.

One reason I don't necessarily like this movie is because it has a huge focus on sex. Marie has had sex with like 360 guys before Jesus and Petey and "has never orgasmed". So what do they do? Try to break her bad luck. They can't and both are like "wtf why....". Anyways, after trying to help a woman that just got out of prison (Jean, that ends up committing suicide with Petey's gun, sorry), they meet up with her son Jack. He manages to get Marie to make the "O" face and they get along very fine, until he goes to deal with unfinished business (which ends up with Jack killing someone.... so, off we run again!).

It just seems like every time that they try to do anything (good or bad), they end up with further issues. Do they deserve it or is it just injustice to Jesus, Petey, and Marie?

Like I said, I don't personally "super like" this movie but others might like it. After a second watch, I would have to say it is interesting though not my favorite. I'd stand to watch it again. It gives a thought towards karma - the things they do, does it bring the future misfortune?

Anyways, you will have to judge for yourself if you want to watch this movie or not. I have to say that it isn't as entertaining as "The Big Lebowski" and the only thing that the two movies have in common is the character Jesus. If I had to say, I would say just stick with "The Big Lebowski". You can go ahead and try this movie, if you wish. I will not stop you from trying it.

So that's my movie review! Thanks for reading. More movie reviews to come.
