But how can they find the bodies and find the evidence? Two FBI agents [of completely different backgrounds/mindsets] are sent to the area to figure out just that.

Rating Criteria

0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute waste of time.

1/5 – Barely worth any time.

2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of something to hold the attention a little.

3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but could definitely have used more.

4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.

5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.

3.5/5 - Not a bad movie but it was very slow and fairly boring to me. It brought up a good point about "why are we racist?". What really separates us from others? Why do people judge based on skin color (or at all)?

Some people might like this movie but I wasn't thoroughly impressed. Feel free to watch it if you wish!

Sorry for the short review. Thank you for reading, though! More reviews to come eventually hopefully.

Notable Cast

Louis Theroux - Himself/Presenter

Plot

This is a documentary about Scientology and the feel around the church (and members).

4/5 - This is just a documentary about one of the most secretive churches in the history of the United States, the church of Scientology. Unfortunately, it is so secretive that Louis Theroux could not show more information about the church and instead showed how the members react to outsiders poking around their turf.

It was strange to hear the emotional abuse from the members of the church because it made me question if this was in fact a "good church"/religious organization. In my personal opinion, I would have to say that any religion that is supposed to be "the one" religion, but does stuff that is not pro-love/pro-affirmation, should not be considered "the one" religion. Just like the idea that forcing one to give the dirt on their lives makes the member a better person - eww; but then they take that dirt to keep you loyal to the church (double eww).

Anyways, this is an interesting view on the way Scientology works or at least shows themselves to outsiders. Feel free to take a look at it if you wish!

Movie Review: "Zeitgeist" 06/01/07 Internet

This is a movie review for "Zeitgeist", released June 1, 2007 on the Internet. I watched this September 12, 2020.

Warning: This is NOT a movie for those that cannot be open minded or can view different viewpoints. If you are one who is "stuck in the way" that you were raised or that you chose, do not watch this movie. If you are one who is able to watch things, think for yourself, and make up your own mind on things, then go ahead and take a look at this. Either way, be careful moving forward with this one.

Basically, this is something to make you think about religion and politics (especially American politics).

4/5 - Honestly, even if this isn't 100% accurate/true information, this is definitely something to make you stop and rethink your life/view on things. Are we in the Matrix, I must ask (jokingly of course). Can you take a look at what someone says about religion and astrology and politics and make your own mind up, or do you just go along with the flow?

There's not much to say about this one but I just found out that they have made a few more videos with updates or new information, so that's interesting to me. I might go try to watch them. If I do, I'll let you know!

Notable Cast

Tom Cruise ... Mitch McDeere

Jeanne Tripplehorn ... Abby McDeere

Gene Hackman ... Avery Tolar

Hal Holbrook ... Oliver Lambert

Plot

When a law student (almost about to graduate) is offered a golden opportunity to join an affluent law firm [with all of the perks], Mitch McDeere jumps at the opportunity. Things start to go sour - two Firm associates are announced dead, FBI questioning the Firm, etc. What can a man do - stay true to honesty and integrity, or follow the money?

0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute waste of time.

1/5 – Barely worth any time.

4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.

5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.

3/5 - Having rated this 3/5 back in 2020, I had to review some of the imdb reviews to figure out why I said that. The answer is simple: long winded movie that had an interesting ending. The bribery and the trickery throughout the movie was interesting and cliche, but at least the main character's marriage didn't fall apart [though it could have, considering what was at stake with the Firm]. Heck, they even tried to get a hot sexy girl on the beach for Mitch to f**k, just so they could blackmail him eventually! Talk about dirty.

After looking over this again, I personally would say that it was an okay movie but I would not really be up to rewatching it soon.

Notable Cast

Oscar Isaac ... Peter Malkin

Ben Kingsley ... Adolph Eichmann

Mélanie Laurent ... Hanna Elian

Lior Raz ... Isser Harel

Plot

During the Holocaust, many Jews were imprisoned and killed by the Nazis. When, fifteen years later, a few find out that one of the "masterminds" of the Holocaust is alive and hasn't been brought to justice, they come up with a plan to capture this man.

4/5 - *SPOILERS* After 2 years since I have watched this, it is hard to give much detail behind this review. This was a very good movie (enough to deserve a 4/5 at the time). I can definitely say that this was an interesting watch. It was based on a real story so it was good to see those responsible for the Holocaust brought to justice for what they did.

Is it worth watching once? For sure. Two times? That's your call.

Sorry I can't type more about this movie. I'll try to do better in the future movies though I'm 2 years behind on reviews.

Thank you for reading!
