Movie Review - "Lilo and Stitch 2" 08/29/05

This is a movie review for "Lilo and Stitch 2", watched via Netflix, which was released to movie August 29, 2005.

TRAILER

CAST
Chris Sanders ... Stitch (voice)
Dakota Fanning ... Lilo Pelekai (voice)
Tia Carrere ... Nani (voice)
David Ogden Stiers ... Dr. Jumba Jookiba (voice)
Kevin McDonald ... Pleakley (voice)

Plotline
Lilo and Stitch are trying to keep their life "normal", as normal a family with two Hawaiians and an alien can be, after the first movie "Lilo and Stitch" finishs. Of course, Dr. Jumba and Pleakley are also staying on Earth to check on Stitch every so often. As they go about their life, they find out that Stitch is having issues being good. What could it be and why must he ruin so many things, without remembering? Can Stitch be saved from becoming completely bad? Is this glitch to be fatal?

Rating Criteria
0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute waste of time.
1/5 – Barely worth any time.
2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of something to hold the attention a little.
3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but could definitely have used more.
4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.
5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all around – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.

3/5 - Honestly, this was subpar compared to the first movie and the idea of someone going "bad" was just a let down for me. I find it interesting what the cause of the glitch was, considering he is Experiment 626 and was created. However, for a children's movie, this one sucked. They did still stick to the "be a family" theme from the first movie, even after Stitch destroyed so much, but it wasn't as touching as the first movie was.

In my opinion, it was not worth my time. Interesting, but I am not rewatching. I am interested in watching, eventually "Leroy and Stitch" and a few of the off-shooting movies, but not in the near-near future.
