Rating Criteria

0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute waste of time.

1/5 – Barely worth any time.

2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of something to hold the attention a little.

3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but could definitely have used more.

4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.

5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.

3/5 - *SPOILERS* Good movie but not what I was expecting. Having seen the new Don (2006), I wanted to see the movie that they had remade. I personally liked the 2006 movie over this one but both have decent points.

I liked the action of the movie until the very end where it turned into a martial arts movie like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" with moves that were not realistic at all [back flip over a burning car, for example].  The martial art moves are what really knocked down my rating for this movie.

The 2006 movie did a really good job at remaking the movie and made it more interesting (with actually switching Don for Vijay). As much as I disliked seeing Don actually die and never come back, like in the 2006, it was cool to see Vijay work hard to try to get his life back and to protect Deepu/Munni.

It was a decent movie. If you don't like older movies, however, I would not recommend it because it definitely had less computer graphics and a dimmer color scheme (doesn't stand out as well). Also, it was in Hindu with English subtitles. Otherwise, you would have to watch in just Hindu. I could not find this as something to buy on eBay with English subtitles, hence watching via YouTube.

Anyways, thank you for reading my movie review! There will be others eventually, so keep an eye out for them.
