Plot
A young District Attorney named Mitch Brockden has everything anybody might want - a good stable career, a loving partner, a brand new baby, and a good house. One night, after hanging out with some friends, he starts heading home. Someone seemed to be about to vandalize his vehicle so he decided to drive the vehicle away from there even though he was buzzed from the night. As he is heading home, he bumps into a person on a side street. He knows that if he stays around, he will get charged for drunk driving. He wants to help the guy so he gives him his coat for a little as he goes to a booth to call 911. He takes his coat once he has placed the call and heads home. Of course, it is still on his mind in the morning and he starts looking into what happened.
A man (Clinton Davis) is brought in for a hit and run for the man's death, which Mitch is afraid might have been his fault, so Mitch takes up the case as if to clear his conscious. However, afterwards, he finds out that the man is not so innocent as he thinks. In fact, it starts becoming a matter of how much can Mitch say and how much can he risk? Can he get the real suspect arrested before something evil befalls himself and his family?

Rating Criteria
0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute
waste of time.
1/5 – Barely worth any time.
2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of
something to hold the attention a little.
3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but
could definitely have used more.
4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly
amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.
5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all
around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.
4/5 - This movie was much more interesting than I thought it would be. The twists of the plot ("war") between the two were very good and kept the viewer on edge. It was a bit of a psychological thriller with Clinton messing with Mitch's mind as he set him up very cleverly.
*SPOILERS* Ending of "happy family" was overdone, in my opinion, but it was done in a decent manner.
I would recommend this movie, but not for children because of the violence (yes, rated R is accurate for the violence and whatnot). As for Morgan Freeman, this is one of the best movies I have seen him in, right up there with "Shawshank Redemption".
Anyways, that's my movie review. Many more to come, so look for them! Thank you for reading.
