Plot

Three roommates are searching for a roommate to help fill their flat and help pay the rent. After passing through many applicants, they come up with someone that they think will fit well. He moves in and they haven't heard from him in days, even after knocking on the door. They knock the door in to find him dead on the bed, a suitcase full of money next to him. What can they do? Is it wise to keep the money? What should they do with the body? Will the money attract bad attention (like the mafia or something like that)?

Rating Criteria
0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute waste of time.
1/5 – Barely worth any time.
2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of something to hold the attention a little.
3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but could definitely have used more.
4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.
5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.

3.5/5 - *SPOILERS*  This movie is a good look into the psychological issues that one might face after sawing a dead body apart and burying it. The amount of money makes the three friends fight each other, get greedy, and become paranoid. There is one part of the movie where the one character ends up locking himself in the attic with the money because he thinks it should not be spent for a while. As the other two friends try to get him to lighten up, they are attacked by people who were looking for the money. Soon, the police are sniffing around and the question is whether to be truthful about everything, to leave the country, or to simply lie.

The question for viewers is how greedy can money make you? What can money do to your personality, especially when received through ill means (like on a dead body)?

Yes, this is definitely a R rated movie because there are dead people, there is the (not shown) dismemberment of bodies and dumping them in a shallow grave out in the forest, violence, attacking each other, a hint of potential mafia (?), and some other things. Not really for those kids, sorry.

I'll leave the pondering to you and won't tell more of the plot line because I enjoyed this movie. I recommend it, though I did not give it a higher rating. That's my movie review. Thank you for reading!

[Bonus for Ewan McGregor! So cute! And Christopher Eccleston, the reason I searched for it because this is a pre-Doctor Who movie for him, was awesome. It was great to see his character degrade...]
