This is a movie review for "Interview with the Vampire", released November 11, 1994. I watched this on May 30, 2019 via a VHS tape.
Genre: Drama, Horror
Run Time: 2 Hours 3 Minutes

(Main) Cast
Plot
The life of a vampire is "sexy", supposedly, right? Well, a vampire that has lived for a long time wants to let a reporter know that the life of the vampire is not so glamorous all of the time. There can be major drawbacks - cannot age (which sucks if you were turned when you were prepubescent), you cannot have a life with a mortal as they will age and you won't, you have to move and reinvent yourself, etc.
As Louis tells his story about his life with Lestat and Claudia, the main thing we have to wonder is will he stay bitter forever or is there a way for him to "have a peaceful existence"?

Rating Criteria
0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute
waste of time.
1/5 – Barely worth any time.
2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of
something to hold the attention a little.
3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but
could definitely have used more.
4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly
amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.
5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all
around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.
3/5 - This movie barely kept my attention. It was an interesting take on vampires (especially with regrowing hair immediately, the girl going insane because she could never grow up, and Lestat never dying though I thought he should have with the dead blood), but not that great of a movie. If it hadn't been for the interruptions from the interview, it would have been better, in my opinion.
That's my review. I would personally not like to watch this again but you can go ahead and try it yourself since everybody's personal preferences are different. Thanks for reading. More reviews will come eventually!
