Movie Review: "Food Evolution" 06/23/17

This is a movie review for "Food Evolution", released June 23, 2017. I watched this via Hulu.

Trailer

Plot

GMOs: good or bad. This movie tries to be as "unbiased" as possible debating on whether GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) are good or bad, starting with teaching what they are and how they might be able to help but also showing some opposition to them.

Rating Criteria
0/5 – No value whatsoever. Absolute waste of time.
1/5 – Barely worth any time.
2/5 – Pathetic but has a bit of something to hold the attention a little.
3/5 – Somewhat kept the attention but could definitely have used more.
4/5 – Good, but not awe-strikingly amazing. Could have maybe used a bit more to the movie.
5/5 – Go see it! Wonderful movie all around. – characters, music, theme, story line, etc.

2.5/5 - Unbiased my rear. Like they couldn't be more biased towards GMOs are good. True, some GMOs are good but not ALL of them. Even if saving bananas from banana wilt in Africa and saving the rainbow papaya are good news for GMOs, why say that all (generalizing is a BAD thing) are good?

Have you seen what Monsanto is having to deal with lately with their Round-Up ready seeds causing illnesses? Not all GMOs are good and not all are bad but this movie is very biased though it does give some info on GMOs.

This video below is not about Round-Up Ready GMO seeds but those seeds have Round-Up genetically engineered into the seeds.

Does this give you concern, considering how many Monsanto seeds are out in the farming industry? Or will you willingly just take GMOs as they are? Like I said, not all of the GMOs are this bad but who knows. Maybe they are but that's hard to determine as of this moment to figure it out. On the other hand, how can you be certain that going "organic" is good, especially with the prices they put the produce and whatnot at for organic food?

Please research if you are interested but remember that this video, though a bit informative, is biased towards ALL GMOs are good.

That's my review. More to come eventually. Thanks for reading!
